Colors of the sunset.....hit the play button.

Morning Glories and Moon Flowers....

I combined morning glories and moon flowers but for a long time there have been no buds...I am guessing due to ridiculous heat....I have kept them watered...and just this week....low and behold I have buds developing left and right. Beautiful...in the morning...the morning glories and in the evening the moon flowers....and at times...early morning.....I have both...the show should be getting better all the time...

The Kittens

There were four little barn kittens...about four weeks old....they were very sick. I took them and nursed them back to health with the help of a vet that charged only for the antibiotic shots and oral antibiotics  and eye drops.
The very tiny white one did not live. Though he sure did try.
Slowly the other three went from no energy to some energy to delightful, endlessly energetic and entertaining kittens.
The time came to find them homes....not easy. But, with help from family and friends we found three wonderful homes...in Vermont. So we packed them into the car and off we went.
Bob, the orange fella and the little gray one quickly settled on top of the suitcases behind the gate. But Calico Kali was freaky....she started to foam at the mouth after forty minutes.... I took her out and she settled on my lap purring away.
Shortly before getting to our hotel that night the other two kittens escaped from behind the cage...but, they too settled in the back seat.

We miss them.....

1/2 cup fresh lime juice -- Key limes or regular
3 large egg yolks

1/4 cup fresh lime juice -- Key lime or regular

AZRA-Arizona River Adventures

It was a fourteen day fully supported river trip on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon.
Define Adventure....An adventure is defined as an exciting or unusual experience; it may also be a bold, usually risky undertaking, with an uncertain outcome. The term is often used to refer to activities with some potential for physical danger, such as skydiving, mountain climbing and or participating in extreme sports. (wiki)
Our trip was all of that and more. The beauty, grandeur and spirit of the Canyon is legendary. It was a privilege to spend long beautiful days taking in
 its silence and sacredness.
