Some of the scenes along the roads of Phalton and Baramati India...

One of the many tent villages along the roads. It seems to be always busy...people carrying laundry, bundles of sticks, pots...squating with one chore or another....children playing...I have been told that these are tight knit small communities. I would like to learn how they manage with food and clothing.

Film of possible home...

Remember the book, "A Year In Provence"...?

This man is assuring Bunty that the whole house will be complete in ten days! "Everything?", Bunty asks. "Everything.", he assures her. She asks if they will get a washing machine and dryer in, wires all connected, walls painted, floors cleaned, construction material taken away, refrigerator in, "American" toilet where there is an "Indian" toilet, beds, other furniture....on she goes with the demands. "Yes, yes, yes!" he says.

Some of the houses in Baramati and Phaltan...

Lots of color in this house...
This house was four story's high...It had to have a dozen bedrooms and many bathrooms...It was empty with marble everywhere....I can picture myself in the living room alone at night...with my three pieces of funiture. Oh, I don't think so.
The symbols above door.... svastika, meaning any lucky or auspicious object, and in particular a mark made on persons and things to denote good luck. It is composed of su- meaning "good, well" and asti "to be" svasti thus means "well-being."

Apartment hallway...
